Covid19 support for self employed under a year based on time trading & earnings
Self Employed for under a year to be supported during this time the same way those over a year are. For them you should be taking the Self employed earnings for 19-20 Tax year but calculating the monthly average ONLY from the date they started trading to the end of the tax year so it is fair.
So many people will be impacted and lose there new business or trade they have spent nearly a year building up from nothing with blood sweat and tears. The first year of anyone who is self employed already has larger outgoings to get started and make it work and if anything are the ones that will Not survive during these times without support as they are less likely to have the financial stability of money put away to rely on as it would have all been recently invested! You need to support them!
