Honour all those in the NHS and have 2 additional bank holidays
Create an act of Parliament as we are likely to miss out on celebrating Easter and the early May bank holiday in 2020. The act would provide 2 additional bank holidays to be placed on the calendar at a time when the medical and scientific evidence allows people to socially mix and honour our NHS
To bring the country together and by having a long bank weekend, (like Easter) later in the year to allow our pub and leisure economy to benefit from some much needed business. The idea would be that a Friday and the following Monday would be national UK holidays to allow everyone to celebrate the end of the spread of the virus
