Delay April and May bank holidays until after COVID-19 lockdown has ended.
Due to the lockdown measures currently in place, the Government should delay the current bank holidays scheduled for April and May until later in the year when people are able to go outside, shop and travel to visit friends and family.
By delaying the bank holidays until people can go outside normally, it will spur further economic activity through travel and retail. Many cancelled plans will be able to be rescheduled to these new bank holidays.
