Void the first year of A levels and only test students on second year content
Currently year 12 students across the country are being asked to work from home which makes it very difficult for many students as they are not receiving the same level of teaching they would if they were in either college or sixth form. This would then affect our grades next year.
The teaching we are missing out on will effect our future ambitions as students who would want to go to university may not get in due to being able to reach their potential due to not understanding some of the content which could have been covered in a lesson in their college/sixth form This would then effect the UK as it could prevent students who wanted to enter jobs in many important sectors of the economy such as medicine, engineering, law etc.
