Pass all university students due to the corona virus
Allow automatic passes for all university students for this year due to the virus. No one has considered the stress this virus has caused for students. We are expected to continue our studies from home which is extremely difficult and unfair to base our grades in these circumstances.
The government has took into consideration A-level and GCSE students, however they have not considered university students. This is a very difficult time for many people and adding the stress of university studies has given a lot of anxiety and de-motivated students. Furthermore this will disrupt future plans and careers people have set out. Many changes have occurred which students have not been prepared for and all occurring at once which is very overwhelming.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about university assessments and exams are a matter for individual universities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful: www.studentminds.org.uk/coronavirus.html
