Petition Action

Make it LAW for employers to furlough staff they have just made redundant.

Petition Details

During CV19 crisis, the government has introduced amazing support measures to help businesses and individuals but as its not law to furlough staff who have been made redundant during this time, some businesses are simply saying no, even though theres no cost to them.

Additional Information

Because individuals are unable to access furlough pay without remaining on PAYE, and yet its at a businesses discretion as to whether they partake meaning individuals are left without work and prospects when the only reason they were let go was due to CV19.
