Increase frontline key workers pay during Covid19 due to increased risk
Amid the current Covid19 pandemic frontline key workers especially those of the NHS and emergency services are continuing to work at combatting the spread of the virus and in turn putting themselves at risk of infection. Risk not just to themselves but to their families and colleagues also
Repeatedly the NHS and emergency services have had little in the way of pay rises compared to those in other public sector roles yet continued to serve the nation to the best of their abilities. The country has recognised that during this pandemic that these services workers have performed their part in limiting the spread of this disease whilst selflessly putting themselves at risk.
