proper and further damages for sexual abuse victims
i would like the goverment to understand more about how much of a life sentence being sexually abused really is. to start compensating all victims fairly and especially ensuring that their future mental health and welfare is compensated for.
every aspect of their lives needs to be compensated for and not just their past.
its unbelieveable the damage to ones life this causes.
mentally, physically, emotionally and socially etc etc.
having not just your childhood ripped from you but to also have our futures destroyed is the hardest thing to turn around and start rebuilding
its the rest of our lives that has been written by someone else, not us.
every kid deserves to write their own futures.
even to be given the slightest chance to acheive their potentials. to try and become what they dream as a kid.
its the long term not short term needs to be changed.
