Waive income tax for NHS staff through Coronavirus
The government is financially supporting millions of people through the pandemic, but NHS staff aren’t getting a penny. The least we should do is waive income tax for the duration. Better still, double their pay!
NHS staff are working all hours, with poor equipment, many in close proximity to infection to provide the best care possible in terrible circumstances. Then we thank them by paying low salaries and taxing them for the privilege. That’s not fair. They deserve more
