Allow people who started their job after 28th Feb get furloughed by new emoloyer
Change the Coronavirus job retention scheme to allow workers to be furloughed by their new employer, to receive 80% of their wages. My current employer as much as they’d like to, cannot retain my job as they wont get the money back. My old
Employer wont re employ me as he doesn't have the cashflow.
I like many tens of thousands of people have been let down by a crack in legislation that does not cover people that changed their job after the 28th feb. This means we are not seen as a victim of the coronavirus.I have no job, no hope of getting a job at this time, bills to pay and no way of paying them simply because i tried to better myself by starting a new job. The premise of the scheme is to retain jobs... My employer wont do this as im not eligible, meaning they’d lose money by paying me.
