Enforce lenders freezing interest on credit cards/short term debts during the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown

Prevent further debt by enforcing safer online gambling limits and blocking card payments during the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown

Additional Information

The Government announced payment holidays for mortgages, however, with people staying at home with reduced incomes, there is a risk of them falling more into debt with credit cards/short term debts.
Government to get lenders to freeze interest for these debts during lockdowns.
Interest rates from 30% to 100% will not be sustainable
People also at risk of falling into debt via Online Gambling Sites, Government needs to address this by enforcing safer gambling limits/blocking card payments.
