Special consideration for current Year 12 students (A-Levels 2021)

Petition Details

Many of the current Year 12’s believe that their 2021 examinations cannot be compared to previous years as they have not been given the same opportunity to learn as prior candidates. We are asking for the government to give students of this year group leniency in their 2021 A-level examinations.

Additional Information

Current Year 12 A-level students are facing an uncertain and unfair future in relation to their 2021 A-level examinations due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Despite teachers’ best efforts to set work online and to teach through video chat, this method is not beneficial for all and is not an adequate replacement for classroom teachings. In addition, some students may find it easier to work from home than others, giving them an unfair advantage.
