Petition Action

Impose partial relief on car insurance premiums due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Petition Details

Request insurance companies to reduce the cost of car insurance premiums due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Additional Information

Insurance companies should not profit from the reduction in overall UK traffic accident claims as a whole during COVID-19. A reduction in overall traffic means an overall reduction in traffic accident claims. However, drivers still pay car insurance premiums as if traffic volumes have not changed in the UK during COVID-19 lockdown.
