Axes the 5 week wait time for Universal Credit now!
There have been 950,000 new claims for Universal Credit since March 16.
The normal amount of claims lodged in a 2 week period is 100,000.
We call upon the Government to axe the 5 week wait period for Universal Credit to avoid people facing a cash crisis
The Salvation Army has said that the UC system could cause a coronavirus debt crisis.
Axe the 5 week wait period for Universal Credit now.
