Provide sufficient and better equipment for frontline NHS staff. Protect lives.
Prioritise putting further effort and funding towards the provision of additional and better protective equipment for NHS staff coming into contact with patients infected with the Coronavirus. Ensure PPE is category 3 standard. Ask for further assistance from other countries/companies. Act quickly.
Every day, NHS staff are putting themselves at risk to help sick people all over the country, yet they are forced to do their lifesaving work without the provision of effective protective equipment. These brave healthcare workers are therefore being put in greater danger than necessary and this is causing a great deal of distress to the staff themselves and their loved ones, during this already stressful time. The provision of complete and high standard equipment would protect their health and lives.
