Include Ltd. company directors-owners in self-employed Coronavirus help package
Extend the self-employed corona virus help scheme to those people who work as directors of their ltd companies. Their help should not be just 80% of director salary but actually 80% of (salary+dividends); just like other self-employed people who are getting 80% of their average profits from 3years.
There are many self-employed people who operate under Ltd companies who pay themselves salary (via PAYE) + dividends. They pay corporation taxes on the profits of the ltd company and then income tax on all the dividends. All these self-employed people are not eligible to benefit from government help and can claim only 80% of their salary instead of 80% of salary + dividends. This is very unfair treatment of highly skilled work force that UK will risk loosing (IT, Engineering, Media etc)
