Advise the Queen to Award the George Cross to all parts of the NHS in the UK

Petition Details

The George Cross is awarded for acts of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger.

The government should advise the Queen that the George Cross should be collective awarded to the NHS UK for the work during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Additional Information

The George Cross has been collectively awarded twice in the past to Malta and the RUC

All of NHS UK has been doing a remarkable response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The staff of the NHS are putting their lives in danger on a daily basis to save patients that have been affected by Covid-19

NHS staff are getting ill and some have lost their lives from COVID-19

They have been performing acts of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger.
