Petition Action

Award a medal to anyone who kept the country running through the corona crisis

Petition Details

Please award some form of certificate or medal to anyone who kept the country safe and running during the coronavirus crisis, the NHS staff, the teachers, the shop/supermarket workers, the refuse collectors, the social workers. Anyone who kept on putting themselves at risk

Additional Information

When advice comes in to stay at home some people were asked not to, that is dedication beyond comprehension. Doctors and nurses are going to work knowing they could become ill themselves. Teachers are still on rota even though schools have closed to mind children. The bins are still being emptied. The shops and supermarkets are still open keeping people supplied, social workers are still keeping people safe, social care staff are protecting the elderly/vulnerable. They need recognising.
