Petition Action

Award a Pandemic Service Medal

Petition Details

Some doctors and nurses have lost their lives helping to fight the Coronavirus pandemic. They should be awarded a posthumous medal from a grateful nation. Also, a Pandemic Service Medal should be awarded to all those on the front line.

Additional Information

This needs to be a national award that all health care professionals can wear with pride. One positive to emerge in these dark times has been the boost in morale the nation’s gratitude has given NHS staff. It has been richly deserved. Let’s build on it and give them a lasting emblem as a tribute to their amazing service.
