Petition Action

Allow students to terminate their accomodation contract early due to Covid-19

Petition Details

Due to recent circumstances all face to face teaching at universities has been cancelled, and so student accomodation is not longer required. It is very unfair to force students who have also been made redundant, to pay large sums of money for accomodation they’re not even allowed to be in.

Additional Information

Allow those who wish to, to terminate their contract early

The Government has published an FAQ for university students on Covid-19, which includes advice on accommodation costs: dfemedia.blog.gov.uk/2020/04/09/university-students-covid19-faq/
