Petition Action

Her Majesty the Queen to be given her own postcode on the 60th Anniversary of her Coronation

Additional Information

We, the undersigned, call on Her Majesty’s government to recognise the contribution Queen Elizabeth II has made to the nation by rewarding her with her very own postcode for the town she chooses to make her home.

Windsor has the SL4 postcode and we feel a WI postcode would be more fitting.

We recommend the WI postcode based on:

• The WI also represents inspiring women in the UK
• Our Queen is the most inspiring woman in the world
• She chooses to make Windsor her home
• WI is available

WI might get confused with W1, consideration needs to be given to the exact format… this might be WiQE followed by the existing digits… this needs to be discussed.

The call is for the Queen to be given her own postcode for the town of Windsor in recognition of her great service to the county and inspiring women the world over.

The exact nature of the format of letters should perhaps be left to Her Majesty?

Thank you.
