Move the Easter bank holiday that will be missed during COVID social distancing
The Easter bank holiday will be spent inside, and in many instances alone, as the country is engaging in social distancing. I would propose it is moved to a time when normality is resumed so that people can spend the day’s off work with their loved ones doing as they please
The United Kingdom’s population is engaging in a extraordinary national effort to stop our health system becoming overwhelmed by the spread of COVID-19, by allowing the Easter bank holiday weekend to be enjoyed once normal life has resumed it would represent a suitable reward for the sacrifice currently being made by the people of the United Kingdom
