All Key Workers working during the COVID-19 outbreak to receive double pay.
Much has been made of the employers who are still remaining open for business despite the pandemic, however to curb the number of businesses still insisting that their workers leave their homes to work, the Government must reconsider who is really classed as a 'key worker.'
Whilst the Government cannot stop a business for choosing to remain open, and some do have a necessity at this time, it is only fair that these necessary workers get more than a thank you. If it is insisted that they are to work during times of national crisis then they are to be better paid. As a result, all commercial or civil businesses who are remaining open, must increase the pay of their workforce to double pay or else face tribunal or legal action.
Workers must be better paid. No excuses.
