Reserve a day, once a year, to celebrate NHS workers
I would like Parliament to mark an official day (after the Covid-19 crisis) where the nation celebrates the hard work and dedication the Doctors, Nurses and Carers put into keeping the UK healthy.
I would like this day to remember the lives lost by the Doctors and Nurses who tragically lost their lives on the front line of looking after the people who contracted Covid-19. This could be done by having a fund raising concert once a year with coverage strictly on the BBC, an applause at 8pm and a statue as a symbol of the gratitude this country has for what the NHS has done for us.
