Remove the distinction between PAYE and Self-Employed for COVID19 Income Support
The Government should provide income support based on the last 3 Tax Returns, no matter if the earnings come from PAYE or Self-Employment. Workers should be entitled to receive help based only on the proved income they are losing.
People who filed a tax return as Directors/PAYE last year and are now trading as Self-Employed are not entitled to receive any help from the Government, despite having paid the taxes as anybody else. Such a distinction is not fair as it's excluding a big portion of independent workers.
