Petition Action

Award the George Cross to NHS staff who die helping patients in covid19 crisis

Petition Details

In other sectors of public service if a person dies in the service of the country they are awarded the George Cross medal. I propose that NHS staff and others who die helping patients and people in the country during the corona virus crisis are awarded the George Cross.

Additional Information

I'm proposing this in recognition of their selfless acts of bravery to help patients, with safety equipment shortages, which may put their own lives in danger.
