Provide vending machines with free face masks at public transport hubs
We suggest British government to introduce vending machines with free face masks at public transport hubs, supermarkets and pharmacies. People will need to pre-register online for a redemption code that can be scanned at the vending machine for a free pack of face masks.
Face mask is the most effective way to prevent spread of coronavirus in public places. Coronavirus is mainly transmitted through tiny droplets of saliva. Research demonstrates that wearing a simple cloth mask stops those droplets in their tracks. Wearing a mask is equally effective or more effective than social distancing, while the cost is much lower.
