Petition Action

Monarchy and Church contribution to fight COVID 19

Petition Details

Discuss different ways for the Monarchy and the Church to support the Government and the British people in their efforts to fight Covid 19.

Additional Information

The Government has asked the public to make sacrifices in this time of need to fight the current pandemic. It is only fair that the same is expected from UK institutions with powerful means to support financially our NHS and support policies for the British people.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Donations would be a matter for the institutions concerned.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, if you would like to see a new tax on the income of religious institutions, you could start a petition calling for that.
