Ltd Personal Service Companies to receive same COVID19 support as self employed
Extend the same benefits under the Corona Virus Bill to those who are directors of limited personal service companies.
It would seem inequitable that tax payers are treated differently given the similar marginal rates of tax between PSC directors and well paid PAYE employees. The marginal rate of 40% income tax + 11% NI(Total = 51%) for PAYE vs 19% Corporation Tax + 32% dividend tax (Total 51%) would seem to indicate that both schemes contribute fairly in terms of tax rate. It does not seem equitable that a PAYE employee could claim up to £2,500 / month support when a director of a PSC may claim ~£550 / month,
