Universities to refund/ to not withdraw the tuition fees for this semester.
Work with all universities/ colleges/ higher education establishments with tuition fees to either reimburse all students that have already paid their fees for this semester or to cancel the direct debits set up by students as tuition fees are due to be withdrawn soon from their accounts.
Considering the current situation and the fact that most universities are closed for the rest of the academic year, and despite the best efforts of tutors, professors and university staff in general, it is safe to say that online teaching cannot replace face-to-face teaching. Students paying the regular fees for this semester turns their studies into overpriced online courses and alleviating them of said cost would help a lot of people not only financially but also mentally.
