Announce an annual Covid-19 national day of mourning
As the Covid-19 pandemic has taken a grip across the globe and we all sit each day watching the news, I'm conscious that many families are torn apart from their loved ones and that they'll possibly not see them again when admitted to hospital. I'd like to suggest that we remember everyone each year.
I believe it to be entirely appropriate to suggest that the UK establish an annual National Day of Mourning to remember and celebrate those people who have died from this Covid-19 virus. There are people in the UK who have been devastated by this and haven't been able to visit their loved ones prior to their premature and untimely death. It's important we remember each and everyone from every community, from every creed and from every race in the UK no matter who they are or their background.
