Petition Action

Open Garden Centres during Covid-19

Petition Details

Open the Garden Centres with social distancing applied.

Additional Information

It is clearly recognised that exercise is good for people. Bike shops are already considered essential. The generation that is most in danger and most needs exercise (60+) are often keen gardeners and need access to garden centres to continue their active hobby. At Garden Centres are easy to enforce social distancing due to their very nature. Many people will be able to grow vegetables which will be invaluable Finally should this situation last into the summer the whole sector will be saved from financial ruin.
