Extend maternity leave with statutory pay.
Allow maternity leave to be extended with statutory pay due to covid 19 lockdown
The first few years of a childs development is so important and not being able to utilise the limited time given is devistating. There is so much interaction and more being missed. My partner is also self employed and although the government are helping for payment from June we are currently having to use our savings to help in the meantime which was supose to be for my maternity and therefore meaning I may have to now return to work earlier than expected.
