The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure if you want the Government to cancel fees for the current academic year, nor next academic year.
We have published a petition calling on the Government to Reimburse international students this year's fees due to strikes and COVID-19, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/318717
Universities, not the Government or House of Commons, are responsible for setting tuition fees for international students, but if your university course is affected next year you could start a petition calling on the Government to reimburse international students' tuition fees.
