Provide NHS staff with a long lasting reward for their fight against Corona.
Significantly increase the salary of medical workers ensuring that the increase feeds through to improving their pensions, and provide financial compensation to families and dependents of those who died fighting the virus, just as if they were soldiers in war.
The actions carried out by medical staff are massively more than their normal roles and is much more akin to the dangers met when fighting a war. The pandemic has laid bare society's gross under valuing of the medical staff, and these people are now risking their lives.
