Make clap for carers a national holiday post covid 19
Given the tremendous amount of work the NHS staff, carers and volunteers have done, it would be appropriate that we continue to commemorate their hard work in an annual event on 26th March at 8pm where people are encouraged to gather and clap in praise.
The NHS staff, carers and volunteers are selfless individuals who frequently put their lives on the line to support the nation. They deserve continual recognition for their incredible efforts and work ethic even after the corona virus has been fought. It has been so heartwarming to see everyone come together to show their support for such a worthy cause, by clapping at 8pm on March 26th, when the commemoration began, it can become a continued event.
