Petition Action

Give NHS Staff the extra £10,000 expenses allowance, that's been given to MPs.

Petition Details

To reconsider the move to give MPs an extra £10,000 allowance to work from home and to instead give our frontline NHS workers a national raise in the wages they earn.

Additional Information

Recently it was announced that our MPs, like a lot of people right now, are to work from home. However, to enable them to do this they have been allocated up to an extra £10,000 in expenses. Meanwhile our NHS Staff that we clap and applaud every Thursday at 8pm, see no benefit at all. This is despite the fact that they are fighting this virus everyday, putting themselves at risk.

I propose that the extra £10,000 allowance should be reconsidered and given to our NHS Frontline Staff.
