Commission a Statue to celebrate the NHS on the empty plinth in Trafalgar Square
A statue should be commissioned to proudly and permanently celebrate the care, compassion, dedication and selflessness of all those who work for the NHS.
The statue should be accessible to all in the centre of the capital, and serve as a focal point for generations to come.
Never before have we relied so much on the Doctors, Nurses, Porters and Cleaners that make up our NHS. Each of these Husbands, Wives, Sons, Daughters, Brothers and Sisters are making incredible personal sacrifices to support their Communities and the Country as a whole through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now is the time to recognise and respect them.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about what is displayed on Trafalgar Square is a matter for the Mayor of London and London Assembly, not the Government or House of Commons.
