Increase Asylum Allowance due to the impact of the Coronavirus crisis

Petition Details

Freedom From Torture and more than 50 other Organizations have jointly written to the Home Secretary and the Chancellor of the Exchequer asking that they increase asylum support rates by £20 per week in line with Universal Credit. We sign this petition to show our support to their call.

We the undersigned submit this petition to show our full support to the joint call by the Freedom From Torture and other Organizations: https://www.freedomfromtorture.org/news/joint-letter-on-increasing-asylum-support-rates-in-response-to-the-covid-19-crisis

We call for an immediate increase of £20 per week in line with the increase in UC and Section 4 support to be paid in cash.
