Petition Action

Design Technology to be compulsory at KS4 for all students.

Petition Details

Change the curriculum so DT is compulsory at KS4.

Additional Information

The Coronavirus and the shortage of PPE for key workers has highlighted that the UK needs to put more focus and resources into the Design and manufacturing sector. By making DT a compulsory subject at KS4 would ensure that more young people are trained to become engineers of the future.
DT departments across the nation have been manufacturing protective visors for key workers, spending their own money on resources and putting themselves at risk in the process.
