Petition Details

I want the government to issue anyone declaring themselves homeless to given a Identity card enabling them to have priority access to the relevant services and also to ensure the receive donations from supermarkets and food banks.

Additional Information

I want the government to address the issue of fake homeless in this country who are making it increasingly difficult for genuine street homeless to recieve the care and support they are entitled to.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. People already need to make a homeless application to receive associated services from local councils.

Distributing supplies from charities and supermarkets would be a matter for individual organisations, not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
