Require Universities to waive exams and assignments for students amidst COVID 19
The government needs to step in and instruct Universities to provide adequate support and understanding to students during this time of need by providing more than 8 weeks extensions on assignments and cancel exams whilst using other alternative methods to asses students.
These unforeseen circumstances caused by COVID 19 have heavily affected students and this will be difficult for students to produce the best quality of work due to lack of support, anxiety, depression, mental health issues and other various reasons. We urge the Parliament to demand Universities to reassure students and take action to the concerns raised above.
