Petition Action

Revoke the plan to pay MP’s £10,000 to cover expenses whilst working from home.

Petition Details

Do not pay £10,000 to each MP for expenses whilst working from home.
Laptops and printers should be government assets and not purchased through MP’s expenses.
Gas and electric used can be claimed using the formula for tax returns and simply claimed through the current expenses route.

Additional Information

This is an incredible amount of money for expenses. The majority of workers in this country are working from home right now and are not getting ANY payments for equipment, utilities or sundries such as paper and ink. This is an excessive amount of money whilst at the same time, a campaign is on to ask people, including the thousands without a current income and those who have lost their jobs, to donate to the NHS. It appears that ALL civil servants are not EQUAL, as no one else is getting 10k
