Create a COVID-19 national emergency fund to produce hospital staff correct PPE
The Government must immediately set up a fund for all 3D printers both public and private, to be able to cover their costs for production of hospital staff Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
If the 3D printers is a business then the business should be able to reopen on a skeleton staff to work.
My cousin is a frontline nurse in the battle against COVID-19 here on the south coast.
At the beginning of this fight their staff were issued full clear protective face masks, breathing masks and a full body protective cover.
Now they are down to small aprons and goggles from a local school which are severely scratched up from years of children playing with them.
This is happening all over the UK, not just Sussex, so we need to act immediately to ensure the safety of our brave NHS heroes.
