Make pandemic financial support available for canal and river based business.
The government need to change the parameters for eligibilty for support, so canal and river based businesses can get financial help to keep their businesses running during and after the Covid-19 crisis.
Small business who do not have land-based properties are not eligible for business support grants, because they do not pay rates, but rather pay a cruising licence. Many businesses will be lost without help. The parameters for elibilility for support need to be changed to allow these businesses to receive grants.
