Have a new bank holiday in honour of NHS around creation date of 5th July
Put in to law that either the first Monday in July or alternatively another Monday between August and December is a bank holiday to honour the NHS
The NHS is unique and has always been the back bone of the UK since it was created. Now more than ever it is saving our country with unfailing and unyielding commitment in the face of the biggest health crisis in the UK's history. It needs to be celebrated in a way that every individual can be involved in. The first Monday of July would be perfect due to the NHS being created on 5th July 1948. Now is the time to honour all our brave NHS workers
