Petition Action

Hold a public inquiry into the government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Petition Details

When the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown is lifted the U.K. government must launch a public enquiry into the U.K. government’s handling of the Coronavirus pandemic. Terms of reference to cover: early preparation, risk mitigation for key workers, transparency of death rates - actual and expected.

Additional Information

The U.K. government’s handling of the Coronavirus pandemic has been inadequate and negligent for the health and wellbeing of NHS frontline staff, particularly with reference to PPE. The government’s decision to adopt a ‘herd immunity’ approach, contrary to the advice of the WHO, can be directly attributed to the unnecessary deaths of a large number of U.K. nationals.
