During the Covid-19 Parking Enforcement Companies harassing families is criminal
Ensure that this become a law during the Covid-19
We are a family with young children and we were given a parking charge notice in our own allocated parking space and the enforcement parking company threathened us with a debt collection company letter and we received several calls and are still receiving calls during the covid-19 lock-down

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It is already against the laws for parking enforcement companies to harass people about paying parking charges. Citizens Advice has published guidance on how to stop being chase for a parking ticket here: www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/parking-tickets/appealing-parking-tickets/stop-being-chased-for-a-parking-ticket/
We have published a petition calling on the Government to encourage local authorities and private car parks to suspend parking fines during the Covid-19 outbreak, which you might like to sign.
You could start a petition calling on the Government to ban all enforcement activity regarding parking charges, including calls and correspondence, if that is what you want to happen.
