Given the problems that surfaced in latest pandemic ! It is an emergency necessity for Government to act!
Now!!
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to support domestic manufacturers, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do to achieve this.
The Government has set out support for British manufacturing in a range of polices, including the UK Industrial Strategy: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/664563/industrial-strategy-white-paper-web-ready-version.pdf
You could start a new petition stating more clearly what you want the Government to do. This could be funding a campaign to promote UK goods, providing financial support to the manufacturing sector, or reviewing what support is needed to support new manufacturing businesses.
