Bestow 'Royal' title on NHS for outstanding work throughout covid-19 pandemic.
I would like the government to suggest to her majesty the queen that the royal title be bestowed upon the NHS to make it the Royal National Health Service.
No words or actions can represent what the NHS has done for everybody and this may, in some relatively small way, show all workers in the NHS just how grateful we all are.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The title ‘Royal’ is a privilege granted by the Queen and not by the Government or Parliament.
You could start a petition calling on the Government to recommend to Her Majesty that she grant the title "Royal" to the NHS.
